Solubility: Easy to dissolve in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ether, can be well miscible with various solvents, and is easy to mix and use in different process systems.

Stability: Stable chemical properties, under normal industrial operating conditions, it is not easily prone to side reactions with other substances and can play a long-term and stable role in desulfurization.

Reaction characteristics: Under certain conditions, it has a strong absorption capacity for acidic gases such as carbon dioxide and CO2. The pure desulfurizer solution does not react with CO2. By adding an activator, the reaction rate is greatly accelerated, and the desulfurizer can be regenerated, achieving recycling.

Corrosive alkaline is the lowest among several alcohol amines and has the least corrosiveness to equipment, which can effectively reduce maintenance costs and extend equipment service life.

Highly selective: Has high selective absorption performance for H2S. After solvent regeneration, the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the acidic gas can reach over 70%, which can efficiently separate H2S from the mixed gas and improve the efficiency and purity of sulfur recovery.

Low solvent loss: Its vapor pressure is the lowest among several alcohol amines, and its chemical properties are stable, with less solvent degradation products, reducing the amount of solvent replenishment and waste, and lowering production costs.

low energy consumption: The reaction heat with H2S and CO2 is minimal, and the highest concentration can reach 40-50%. The solvent circulation is reduced, greatly reducing the consumption of regeneration steam. To stabilize the operation of desulfurization and regeneration systems and reduce amine consumption, a composite methyl diethanolamine solvent with a concentration of 30% is used, significantly reducing the energy consumption of the device.

Scope of application

This desulfurizer is mainly suitable for sulfur recovery units in refineries and can be used to process feed gases containing acidic gases such as hydrogen sulfide, such as refinery gas and liquid hydrocarbons. It is also widely used in the desulfurization and purification of natural gas, oilfield associated gas, and selective desulfurization of synthetic gas. At the same time, it is also suitable for removing H2S from the tail gas of Claus units and other related gases, which can meet the needs of gas desulfurization in different industrial scenarios.
