Efficient polymerization inhibition: Rich in efficient free radical capture components, it can quickly combine with the free radicals generated by high temperature in the cracking gas to terminate the chain polymerization reaction. For example, at the outlet of a tubular cracking furnace, a large amount of free radicals are generated in the cracking gas, and the inhibitor can timely capture the free radicals, prevent the polymerization of monomers such as butadiene and pentadiene, and effectively inhibit the formation of polymer "fouling".

Metal passivation: Can passivate trace metal impurities (such as iron and copper ions) that promote polymerization reactions in the device, reducing their catalytic activity. In the presence of trace metal impurities in the reboiler and tower kettle environment, the inhibitor forms stable complexes with metal ions, blocking their catalytic effect on polymerization reactions and reducing polymerization reactions caused by impurity catalysis.
